i suppose its also something that has been going on scince the days of quake1 and the like, its just progressed on to voice instead of txt and core gaming market age has gotten younger. this is the reason party chat was invented tho, so you can clan up with your buddies and stick it to em, co-ordinating your efforts as a disturbingly mute uber team

Very good points from both of you. I'd love to to think they could implement something like that Majikel, but the workload must be astronomical. It's just a shame that some of the most popular FPS games bring such an audience to them too. I bet most people are totally fine players just looking for a way to unwind. But as most things in life, it's the extreme cases which stand out unfortunatley.

I especially like it when a kid whose ball's ain't dropped yet due to the high pitched tones in his voice calls out one of your friends saying politely 'the baron.... the baron?' 'yeah?' 'your shit' hahaha.

i guess the only way to go is to have a stronger matching&moderation service. Halo matches you with players of a similar skill level and Xbox live asks you what kind of gamer are you? but what if that was taken more into account? Laid back gamers in a friendly mood across the world being matched up in online play. It would also mean that the annoyuing backstreet boy singing, smack talking, whining, annoying, 12 year old, kids that call us n00b because we owned them so bad would only have each other to scream at. I can only smile at that thought
