We here at 7outof10 are just like you. We live normal lives, with normal jobs and have normal friends. Our passion, though, is gaming, and this site is our opportunity to share with you our opinions on the state of our pastime. This is no news blog, rather a place for conversation and discussion where our whitterings will be reactions to the events of the industry and the games we are playing.
Our unique take stems from our combined experience; between us we have worked for established brands in games retail, games journalism and games development for many years. Now, however, like most people, we have to fit our hobby around the more mundane aspects of life – like eating, sleeping, working and relationships. We understand the limitations on most gamers and hopefully we can reflect that.
As such, we may not be playing or covering the latest games. We’re not sent games by PR companies, we play what we’re into and it’s a true reflection of our gaming lives. Occassionally we’ll miss a major release due to cash flow or simply stumble upon it a few months down the line but that delay will give us the time to truly reflect on its impact.
We’re not trying to pander to anyone here. The whole site was born out of the conversations of friends and our passion for gaming. We hope you appreciate that and take the time to join in.
