From my own perspective, I'll echo everything James said about just how impressive and comfortable the experience was. I did have a little difficulty adjusting my eyes at first, but after about 20 minutes hands-on, it became natural and almost intuitive to hold the device at the right distance and sort of de-focus for the effect to become prominent. It simply works, and works well. That's the highest praise I can give.

I have to say I found almost everything easier with the slider set between 75% and 50% however, with hardly any of the depth perception sacrificed. The only question I have is with fast-moving content close to the camera, as it seems your eyes can't quite adjust quickly enough to make that sort of movement anything less than jarring. We'll see though, I'm sure some clever soul will work around that.

Nintendogs, Metal Gear and Pilot Wings were enough to sell it to me. Roll on March.
